The National Enterprise Challenge is over the moon to announce that Moonpig founder and former BBC Dragon’s Den star, Nick Jenkins, is set to become the Ambassador for the 2019/20 National Enterprise Challenge.
Nick will be in attendance at this year’s National Final where he will take part in a Q&A and feature on the main judging panel at the prestigious celebration event.
Commenting on the appointment Nick said, “I am delighted to become an ambassador for The National Enterprise Challenge for this academic year. Developing young people’s enterprise skills is vitally important for the UK economy so it’s great to be involved in a competition which helps to do this. I am looking forward to seeing the finalists’ ideas in July.”
The National Enterprise Challenge Co-founder Michael Dyer added “We are really looking forward to having Nick as our ambassador, his appointment and the two great challenges set by Grenade and Air Products for this year will give the challenge a different dynamic and we can’t wait to see all the great ideas that the students have come up with.”
Co-founded by cousins Ben and Michael Dyer whilst studying at Staffordshire University, The National Enterprise Challenge is the UK’s largest Enterprise and Employability competition, which by the end of this academic year will have helped to inspire over 300,000 students.
Nick Jenkins becomes the challenge’s third ambassador, with the role previously held by Lord Sugar and Theo Paphitis.
