This week, students in Shells took part in the National Enterprise Challenge. It was a day of excitement as well as an introduction to business. The year group divided into teams of six to approach the challenge set by Theo Paphtis – to develop, design and pitch a new pencil case for Ryman’s The Stationers.
Eight teams were selected to present to a panel of judges pitching their product ideas, in the style of Dragon’s Den, in under four minutes. The winning team, who will attend the National Finals at the Trentham Estate on July 1st was HealthyFrutu. They created a range of fruit shaped pencil cases to help encourage healthy eating amongst primary school children.
