How many pupils can take part in a National Enterprise Challenge day?
In short, as many as you like! We usually work with an entire cohort/year group, which on average is around 150-180 students, but if you have unusually large or small year groups we can explore multiple days or possibly look to combine year groups. It is best to speak to our School Engagement Team on 01785 550160 to discuss your requirements.
What resources does my school need to provide?
We bring all learning resources (such as pens, paper etc) with us. We simply require a space to deliver, appropriate desks and chairs set out in groups of four to six, and an Audio Visual setup that will allow us to display and deliver our challenge (usually a laptop, projector, speakers and a microphone).
How long does the challenge take?
Perfect for drop down/super learning/off-timetable days, the challenge takes place over a single school day, with timings worked around your existing school timetable. Your winning team then attends our Grand Final event which takes place again over single day.
Do you come to our school?
Yes! The Challenge takes place at your school with our team(s) of expert facilitators.
Are your team DBS checked?
Yes, all of our challenges are delivered by our fully trained and DBS checked facilitators.
Is my school guaranteed a place at your National Final?
Yes! We believe that every school should have the opportunity to represented on the national stage. Regardless of whether you are a public school, grammar school, state school, comprehensive or otherwise, you will be guaranteed a place at our National Final to compete against all other schools on an equal and unbiased platform.
Sounds great, but how much does it cost?
We understand that school budgets are constrained and ever-shrinking, but our days represent exceptional value for money in comparison to other providers and we are often able to offer discounts on certain dates.
As we are not Government funded our inspiring initiatives do incur a charge, but we are very cost effective (on a per-student basis) and we may occasionally be able to point you in the direction of funding that could be available in your area.
Again, it is best to contact our School Engagement Team to discuss your requirements on 01785 550160.
