The National Enterprise Team and Ben Dyer from Enterprise Days launched the surprise challenge on the day and students worked in teams to develop their enterprising ideas and to pitch their product or service to a panel of judges. Around 60 schools across the country are taking part with more than 10,000 young people involved.
There were lots of good ideas and the teams had worked together to identify social and community problems and issues where they could help with a new product or service. They delivered a presentation based on the four Ps of Product, Place, Price, Promotion and their unique selling point.
The winning team of students won with their company ‘BiKing’ which aims to support young people with mini mopeds and to avoid anti-social behaviour in the community.

More than 60 schools across the country took part in the challenge with more than 10,000 young people involved!
The BiKing team had to make a presentation to a panel of judges and had to perform their idea for a jingle/advertisement.
The final was a fantastic day with a gala dinner, entertainment, high profile judges, a celebrity host and Lord Alan Sugar (TV The Apprentice) met with the teams.
